Claremorris Community Radio

Claremorris Community Radio is a volunteer-led, non-profit station bringing together community news, music, conversation and Irish-language programmes. The Good Morning Show combines local information, interviews and music, while specialist shows include Classical Sounds and For Folk’s Sake. All presenters are volunteer members, and the station offers radio and media training to support participation. Broadcasting began in September 2006, following the organisation’s formation two years earlier. The service is available on 94.6 FM around Claremorris and through online listening and programme recordings. Its studios are at Chapel Court in Claremorris. Local groups can contact the station about announcements, interviews and outside broadcasts, as well as volunteering.
