Connemara Community Radio

Connemara Community Radio is a community-run service based in Letterfrack, with broadcasting rooted in North West Connemara. Its licensed service began on 1 July 1995, supported by volunteers and a small staff team. Local stories, interviews and arts coverage form part of its work, including Arts on Air recordings from the Clifden Arts Festival and educational programmes for students. The station publishes FM listening on 87.8 and 106.1 MHz, together with an online stream. Its website holds weekly podcasts, documentaries and an archive of earlier programmes, allowing listeners to return to local voices and events. Membership and volunteering provide ways for the surrounding community to support and contribute to the station.
